As a regional beef producer, we’ve experienced a number of advantages from being involved in the export awards.
First, we see it as a validation of all the hard work and dedication that we’ve put into our brand, our people and our business.
Second, it’s a mechanism to benchmark our business against a broad range of exporting peers, many of whom operate in different industries outside of beef. We regularly have the opportunity to benchmark our product quality through branded beef competitions, but this helps us measure our business as a whole.
Last, but not least, as a growth business, winning an award has been a great promotional tool. It shows we’re a serious export player, especially when we’re introducing our business and brands to new customers or new markets.
